Patrol Division

Overview



The Cody Police Department Patrol Division consists of three squads, which are each supervised by a Sergeant. The Officers of the Patrol Division are usually the most visible and the first to arrive on scene. Patrol Officers provide the first response to a variety of calls, ranging from traffic incidents to violent crimes.

Many of the Patrol Officers provide services in addition to their regular patrol duties. These additional roles include Bicycle Patrol, School Resource Officer, Bomb Team, and Tactical Response Team.
