Fallen Officer Fund

The Cody Wyoming Police Fallen Officer Fund was established in 2019 by active-duty Cody Police Officers. The fund was designed to assist the immediate families of Cody Police Officers that are injured in the line of duty, killed in the line of duty, diagnosed with catastrophic illnesses, or experience other unfortunate events.

The Cody Wyoming Police Fallen Officer Fund is a tax-deductible, nonprofit organization established under 501(c)(3) provisions of the Internal Revenue Service (EIN 83-4090174), the Office of the Wyoming Secretary of State, and Wyoming State Statutes to operate in the State of Wyoming.

Those who make a donation of $50 or more will receive an official Cody Wyoming Police Fallen Officer Fund coin, as pictured below. Please email your mailing address to publicsafety@codywy.gov or call (307) 527-8720 and reference your specific donation and amount.

The Cody Wyoming Police Fallen Officer Fund is recognized by PayPal as a confirmed charity, and only charges a discounted processing rate of 2.2% (plus $0.30 for online transactions). For a donation of $100, only $2.50 would be charged by PayPal.
