Beck Lake Park has more than two miles of asphalt trails encircling two large reservoirs, offering spectacular views of Cody and beyond. Other features include: a developed Braille Trail; Cody Lions Club picnic shelters; handicapped accessible fishing piers; the new off-leash dog park; and bicycling trailhead with many miles of natural-surface, non-motorized trails.
Much of the east, south, and west shores of Beck and Alkali Lakes support aquatic vegetation. These areas are physically sensitive and an important nesting and escape habitat for the 80 species of waterfowl and songbirds that use the area. Local pet leash laws are enforced.
